The Great Perfection

‘When an individual is able to maintain the dzogchen state continually,
he or she no longer experiences dukkha,
or feelings of discontent, tension and anxiety in everyday life.’

(unknown Dzogchen master)

I’m particularly in love with three practical ways to awakening, Zen, Advaita and Dzogchen. They are all free of rituals and beliefs.

I have mostly worked with Zen and Advaita but I find the Dzogchen meditation practice very fruitful too.
My winter retreat in this New Year has been a Dzogchen meditation retreat and I could see that many benefited greatly from it.

So this fall, in our meditation retreat , we will work with methods from Dzogchen.

Very shortly, about what Dzogchen is: It is the natural, primordial state or natural condition of the mind. Dzogchen, or "Great Perfection", is a central teaching of the Nyingma school, a branch of Tibetan Buddhism.

Like in Zen and Advaita, the goal is to realize our ultimate nature, as the pure, all-encompassing, primordial awareness or naturally occurring timeless awareness.

In this retreat I will talk over:

"The Precious Treasury of
The basic Space of Phenomena
"

by Longchen Rabjam

The retreat will be in silence and side by side you can enjoy Dalsland’s beautiful forests.

Welcome!
