New Year Retreat
2010/2011

27 December to 1 January
at Hällungen Kursgård, Sweden

The retreat is from 27.December 19.00 to the 1. January. We are also trying to get enough people to to stay 5 days more (from 1. January to 6 January.

The morning Dharmatalks in this retreat will be over Zen Master Bodhidharma the founder of Zen.

It is a classical silent retreat and deeper issues can surface which is the
benefit of sitting for a longer time. Satsang is a possibility to work
deeply and bring more clarity or if needed, you can come out for a private
meetings with Nukunu.

To be truly free, meditation is the beginning and the end. In the beginning, meditating is an effort - in the end, it is delightful effortlessness.

The process is that in the beginning you have small glimpses of the nature of mind - pure consciousness - but you fall back into separation again. Slowly the glimpses tend to stay, and you are established as consciousness itself for longer periods and finally it is permanent.

To get to a permanent stage, you will have to practice mindfulness in one way or another, either sitting, walking or lying down.

In a Meditation Retreat you meditate together with others, and that is a great help to go deep. There is also a daily structure that will support you. Finally, Satsang and Dharmatalk will inspire and help to clarify doubt.

The Meditation Retreat is in silence to help the mind relax and become steady.

The food at the silent meditation retreat is vegetarian.

The retreat is from the 27 December to 1 January. There is also a possibililty to continue for another five days to 6 January.

Price: The price is 1.050 SEK (Swedish Crowns) per day - including everything. For single rooms there is an extra charge. We can only offer a limited amount of single rooms. Therefore, sign up in good time if you want to be the first in line.
